11-year-old Ellie Awaits Kidney for Transplant at University of Minnesota Amplatz Children's Hospital
A surgeon had to remove one of her kidneys when she was only two months old. Now, after 11 years, the other kidney has failed. Ellie needs dyalisis for 12 hours each day as she waits for a new kidney. Because she is adopted, Ellie's parents are not a match.
